The popular annual conference on unidentified flying objects (UFOs) returns to Anne Arundel Community College on Saturday, May 15, with new presenters and speakers long affiliated with the event giving updates on research, sightings and encounters.
Hear from speakers who are among the top UFO experts in the nation during the “UFO Awareness” conference, which runs from 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. in Humanities Building Room 112 on the Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway.
S. Peter Resta, Ph.D., of Arnold, an adjunct assistant professor of psychology at the University of Maryland, presents the keynote address on “Why Ufology.” Rob Swiatek, a board member of Fund for UFO Research with TV appearances on “Larry King Live” and “UFOs Then and Now,” will discuss “Close Encounters: UFO Fly-bys and the MUFON Star Team.”
Other presenters are Ron Fink, Maryland director of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), discussing “Aerial Encounters with UFOs;” Don Borton, MUFON assistant state director, on “UFOs: A History of Maryland Sightings;” Carl Feindt, author of the upcoming book “UFOs and Water,” will address “Physical Influences of a UFO on Water.” Anna Jamerson, co-author of “Connections: Solving Our Alien Abduction Mystery,” will discuss her book and present “Connections: A Lifetime of Abductions.”

The cost is $30 for county residents with an additional charge of $5 for residents of other counties and an additional $10 charge for out-of-state residents.
