Employers and job hunters alike should mark their calendars for Tuesday, Oct. 26, when Anne Arundel Community College will host its annual fall job fair on the Arnold campus.
The event typically attracts more than 1,500 job seekers and employers are now encouraged to sign up for booths. Employers already signed up seek workers for various positions, including some that require top secret or secret security clearances. Career fields represented to date include information technology, education, homeland security, business management, communications, construction, criminal justice, finance, healthcare and human services, office administration and assistance, marketing and retail.
The job fair runs from noon-4 p.m. in the David S. Jenkins Gymnasium. Job seekers should come dressed for interviews with resumes and portfolios in hand. AACC also is offering a series of free workshops to aid job seekers. No appointments are needed:
