Affordable child care rates, a nurturing environment and nationally accredited program are offered by the Anne Arundel Community College Child Development Center, which has openings for fall for full-time and part-time day and evening care.
The center is housed on the AACC Arnold campus and is open to the community. It also provides care for children of AACC students, faculty and staff.
The daytime program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), which is the “gold standard” measure of quality in the early education and child care industry. The teachers are degreed and provide a high quality and developmentally appropriate early education program for children ages 3-5. The center has full-time or part time openings; hours are 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
Evening child care is also offered on a drop-in basis from 5:30-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday in the fall and spring term for children ages 3-10. These children will enjoy arts and crafts, story time, games, homework help and outdoor play activities. Snacks are provided.
All fees are based on use, with discounted rates going to AACC students. All children must be preregistered. State purchase-of-care vouchers, child-care subsidies and military subsidies are accepted. For information, call 410-777-2450 or visit www.aacc.edu/cdc.
