AACC Offers Help to Prepare for GED

      Would you like to complete your high school diploma?

      Improve your English, math and reading skills and prepare for the GED with Adult Basic Skills and GED Test Preparation classes provided by Anne Arundel Community College. ABS classes are available at no charge to those ages 16 and up who have officially withdrawn from high school, thanks to a grant funded by state and federal sources and supported through the college (see below).

      AACC Adult Basic Skills classes are available this fall at Brooklyn Park Middle School, the Center of Applied Technology South in Edgewater, Glen Burnie High School, Glen Burnie Town Center Arundel Center North building, Sales and Service Training Center at Arundel Mills in Hanover, Stanton Community Center in Annapolis and ? the newest site ? the West County Area Library in Odenton.

      The Official GED Practice Test is available for $15 at three AACC sites: Annapolis, Glen Burnie Town Center Arundel Center North and the Sales and Service Training Center at Arundel Mills. About the Grant
The total cost of this grant project is $506,767 of which 47 percent ($235,525) is funded through the U.S. Department of Education, 30 percent ($153,988) is funded through the State of Maryland, Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, and 23 percent ($117,254) is supported by Anne Arundel Community College.
