AACC Offers Information on Resources, Free Activities

      The Anne Arundel Community College Student Life office is hosting a celebration for students who are single parents at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, in the Student Union dining hall on the Arnold campus.

      The “Celebration for Single Parents” offers a free arts and crafts activity for children of AACC students so the parents can meet each other, discuss information and resource needs and talk about future single-parent student events. Candy Place, a staff member from the AACC Parenting Center, will share information on resources available to single parents.

      The event is free; parents are required to RSVP the number of adults and children attending by Sept.16 at 410-777-2043 or by emailing kfherrera@aacc.edu.
