Prepare for the Holidays With Classes at Mount Olive
Get creative in making decorations, cards and jewelry for the holidays with these one-session classes at Anne Arundel Community College’s newest class site, Mount Olive Community Life Center, 2 Hicks Ave., Annapolis.
Learn to personalize holiday or special occasion cards in “Creating Greeting Cards and More” (CFT 320) or create a “Fresh Centerpiece” (CRF 375), each from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29. Discover ways to manage clutter with “Decluttering 1, 2, 3” (PRS 385) from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1. Or, build an outdoor bird house to enjoy all winter long from 6:30 to 9 pm. Thursday, Dec. 1.
Painting and jewelry projects are the themes for the next week’s classes. “Paint a Santa Doorstop” (WIS 382) is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, with “Glass Painting” (WMN 360) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8. Fashion “Holiday Earrings” (CFT 379) from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, and create “Holiday Wire Jewelry” (CFT 380) from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8.
Classes provide all materials. Costs vary from $31 to $55, and fees vary from $5 to $25, depending on the course.
