AACC's Flea Market Can Help Empty Your Garage, Attic

April 6, 2012
Events

Put cash in your pocket and empty those stored boxes taking up space in your attic, basement or shed by taking part at Anne Arundel Community College’s “Big Flea Market and Community Yard Sale” Saturday, June 2, on the Arnold campus.

Sign up for table space early and save. Early birds registering on or before May 25 for space, which includes one table, pay $25. Spaces with tables reserved May 26-June 2 cost $30. Additional tables cost $5 each. No food vendors are allowed; Arundel House of Hope will be providing refreshments for sale. A Goodwill Truck will be on site to collect unwanted items at the end of the day.

The 8 a.m.-1 p.m. event takes place rain or shine and is free for yard sale shoppers, who traditionally find lots of bargains from household décor to exercise equipment, clothing, jewelry, toys, tools and furniture.

Set up is in parking lot F, which is easily accessible off Gov. Ritchie Highway (Route 2) and West Campus Drive. In case of rain, the sale will move indoors to two adjacent buildings, the Cade Center for Fine Arts and the Center for Applied Learning and Technology. To reserve a space, call AACC Event Services at 410-777-2724 or 410-777-2614. The Arnold campus is at 101 College Parkway.
