April 19, 2013
The public will have an opportunity to see recent videos created by Anne Arundel Community College visual arts students at the 2013 AACC Student Video Festival from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 27, in the Humanities Building Room 112 on the Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway.
AACC’s Visual Arts department stages the annual, juried Student Video Festival each spring to offer an engaging look at our student's recent work in time-based media. This event is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be provided.
This year's juror is Sala Wong, associate professor of Visual Art at Indiana State University. Wong's interactive digital art and design work includes installation, motion graphics, wearable art, computer-controlled environments and locative media. Her works have been exhibited in Russia, Thailand, Japan, USA, Canada, Finland, Estonia, Czech Republic, Singapore and Hong Kong.
