"the head bone's connected to the C1..."

A recent demonstration/ hands-on activity

Oct. 31, 2013

Prepare to see amazing feats before your very eyes. Is it magic? Not really. It’s science and Anne Arundel Community College science faculty members are staging Science Night 2013 to show young and old how much fun science can be.

The public can choose from two performances on Nov. 13, 5:30-6:30 p.m. and 7-8 p.m., both in the Robert E. Kauffman Theater of the Pascal Center for Performing Arts on the Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway. Then, just downstairs in the Student Union dining hall, demonstrations and hands-on activities will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

What you can expect at this event:

  • Learn to make slime and oobleck
  • See and touch a variety of animals
  • See a magic fire extinguisher
  • Watch amazing chemistry
  • Discover ways to pull a tablecloth from under dishes
  • And much more!

No reservations are required. For information, contact Jason Barbour, associate professor of physical science, by email or at 410-777-1217.
