It’s LEGO® Time Again at AACC

Dec. 3, 2013

Watch teams of youth complete robotic challenges with Legos® based on this year’s theme, “Nature’s Fury,” in a FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) qualifier tournament on Saturday, Dec. 14, at Anne Arundel Community College.

Spectators are welcome to watch and pull for their favorites when the tournament begins at 12:30 p.m. in this “Battle of the Bay” competition in the Cade Center for Fine Arts Room 219 on AACC’s Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway.

The FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) is a worldwide robotics program for students ages 9 to 16. Each year, FLL teams complete a challenge that includes programming a robot to complete a particular course, and doing a project based on that year’s theme.

AACC’s Engineering Department helps coordinate the tournament each year. For information about the event, visit the website, AACC FLL or contact Marjorie Rawhouser, Beth Wyler or Joe Taylor. For information about FIRST® LEGO® League, visit FIRST® Lego® League.
