ARNOLD CAMPUS (continued)

A. CATHRYN JOHNSON BUILDING

12,775 gross square feet
This two-story building constructed in 1982 is named for A. Cathryn Johnson, who served on the AACC Board of Trustees from 1970-77 and was active in developing the college's affirmative action policy and making the campus accessible to the disabled. The building contains classrooms and offices.

LUDLUM HALL

14,620 gross square feet
Constructed in 1976, this two-story building is divided into two wings and named for AACC President Robert P. Ludlum, Ph.D., 1968-1976. Ludlum expanded the college from its Dartmouth-on-the-Severn philosophy to a comprehensive community college, adding career credit programs, launching basic studies for remedial learning and adding to the noncredit, continuing education offerings.

The building houses the college administration, Human Resources and Public Relations and Marketing offices.

MATHEMATICS BUILDING

13,071 gross square feet
This two-story building erected in 1986 is identical to the Schwartz Building and houses the Mathematics Department, classrooms and the Child Development Center. An outdoor fenced play area for the children borders the building.
