How long does it take to complete the program?
This evening and weekend program takes one year to complete.
Can I transfer courses from other colleges or universities?
Prerequisite and general education courses with a grade of "C" or better are transferable provided the course is consistent with one of our offerings. This is determined by the Records and Registration office at AACC. The Nursing department director must approve transfer of credits from another nursing program.
Where do students get clinical experience?
Clinical experience is obtained in hospitals on acute medical-surgical, obstetrical, and pediatric units; in extended care and rehabilitation facilities; with home health and community health agencies; and through outpatient psychiatric experiences.
