The Center for the Study of Local Issues  (CSLI) was established by members of the Social Science Division at Anne Arundel Community College in 1978.  One of several research oriented centers or institutes at the College, its mission is threefold - to help students better understand applied research methods by participating in relevant projects, to serve the community and government by offering research services, and to further College faculty development.  In addition, CSLI assists the College by collecting information to help assess and meet community needs.

The Center's primary activity is to conduct public interest surveys on a semiannual basis. Press releases detailing the results of these surveys are accessible dating from 1995. You can also search the survey database by topic and question.
