Teaching Philosophy

I believe that the instructor and student work together as partners in learning with each having their respective responsibilities. The most important responsibility of the instructor is to present a contemporary, interesting course that helps the student learn. The major responsibility of the student is to thoughtfully complete course assignments and engage oneself in learning about the topic of the course and the subject matter. Both student and instructor should be aware of the appropriate cognitive and experiential learning the course entails.
