Psychology Club and Psi Beta

Anne Arundel Community College has two organizations dedicated to helping students learn more about psychology and explore careers in psychology and related fields. Jerina Wainwright is the advisor for both groups. We hope to see you at an upcoming event!

PSYCHOLOGY CLUB

The psychology club meets Wednesdays from 3:30–4:30 p.m. in Careers 346. All meetings are free and open to all AACC students. Members of the psychology club can connect with other students who are interested in the field of psychology, have deeper discussions on various topics in psychology, go on field trips, develop leadership and planning skills, and design activities to promote better understanding of human behavior along with involvement in other fun activities. Most importantly, this is a great way to get involved with a service-learning activity and to enhance your resume/college applications.

PSI BETA

Psi Beta is the national honor society in psychology for community college students. In order to become a member, candidates must have at least a 3.0 GPA and a B average in psychology; they must also have completed at least 2 psychology courses and 12 credits total. If you are interested in seeking membership in Psi Beta, either now or in the future, please contact Jerina Wainwright as soon as possible.
