The following courses are required for admission to the Radiologic Technology Program. All 7 prerequisites must be completed with a minimum grade of C by the end of the fall semester. A cumulative prerequisite GPA of at least 3.0 (no rounding).

or BIO 101 - Fundamentals of Biology
and BIO 233-BIO 234 - Anatomy and Physiology 1, 2 (8-12)
COM 111 Fundamentals of Oral Communication or COM 115 Fundamentals of Oral Communication for Non-Native Speakers (3)
*MAT 141 - College Algebra and Trigonometry 1 (3)
MAT 121, MAT 151 or MAT 191 satisfies the MAT 141 requirement.
SOC 111 - Introduction to Sociology (3)
ENG 111 and ENG 112 - Composition and Introduction to Literature 1, 2 (6)
ENG 115 and ENG 116 - Composition and Introduction to Literature for Non-Native Speakers 1, 2 (6)
ENG 121 Composition and Literature (3)
Successful completion of ENG 121 fully satisfies the college English composition general education requirement. Students who take ENG 121 and not ENG 111-112 or ENG 115-116 may need to take an additional elective course to ensure they complete a minimum of 60 credits which are required for the award of an associate degree. These credit hours must be chosen with the approval of the department chair or program coordinator.
Note: Completion of the Radiologic Technology program satisfies the College's Health/Fitness/Wellness requirement, diversity requirement and computer competency requirement.
*Science and college algebra prerequisites must be taken within 7 years of the time the application is submitted.
