This course sequence is recommended for students who are thinking of continuing their education by transferring to a four-year university to obtain a baccalaureate degree.

MAT-131** - College Algebra (3)

*Note: Completion of two or three of the following prerequisite courses with a grade of C or better: BIO-231-232 (or BIO-233-234) and MAT-131. BIO-101 is the prerequisite for BIO-233-234. The third prerequisite course must be completed with a grade of C or better by the end of the summer term prior to the beginning of RAD-101. Priority consideration for admission to the radiologic technology course sequence will be given to students who have completed all three prerequisite courses.

**MAT-121 - Algebra and Trigonometry, MAT-151 - Introduction Analysis (Pre-Calculus), and
MAT-191 - Calculus and Analytic Geometry 1 will satisfy the MAT-131 math requirement.

⁺Successful completion of ENG-121 fully satisfies the college English composition general education requirement. Students who take ENG-121 and not ENG-111-112 or ENG-115-116 may need to take an additional elective course to ensure they complete a minimum of 60 credits which are required for the award of an associate degree. These credit hours must be chosen with the approval of the department chair or program coordinator.
