Graduation Information and Application
IMPORTANT: You MUST complete a graduation application (PDF) if you wish to receive your certificate/associate degree, regardless if you will attend the spring commencement ceremony.
Application for graduation (PDF) must be made according to the following schedule:

Completed graduation applications MUST be returned to the Records and Registration Office.
One graduation fee must be paid for each degree/certificate. Graduation applications are good for only one term. Students who do not qualify in the term for which they apply will be required to reapply, but will not have to pay another $20 graduation fee.
Commencement Ceremony: The college graduates students three times a year (spring, summer and fall), but has only one commencement ceremony a year in the spring.
Commencement 2008 (May 29, 2008): Information regarding the May 29, 2008 commencement ceremony was mailed April 16, 2008 to summer 2007 and fall 2007 graduates and spring 2008 prospective graduates. The information (two documents) that was sent is listed below. The deadline to apply for graduation, regardless if you wish to attend the commencement ceremony, was March 1, 2008.

Graduation Honors: Graduation honors will be accorded to associate degree recipients whose adjusted cumulative GPAs are as follows:
3.4 to 3.59--cum laude
3.6 to 3.79--magna cum laude
3.8 to 4.0--summa cum laude
Phi Theta Kappa: Graduates who have been inducted into the Omicron Theta chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society will have a golden PTK seal on their diplomas.
