Ways to Register at AACC
There are many convenient ways to register for credit courses at Anne Arundel Community College.
NEW STUDENTS – If you are a new student seeking a degree or certificate, you may apply for admission online or send your admission application by mail or by fax, but you must see an advisor before registering. Apply online!
If you are a new student not seeking a degree, you may submit your application online, in person, or by mail and your registration form in person or by mail.
ALL STUDENTS – If you previously applied for admission and have attended an AACC credit or developmental class, you may register using one of the four registration methods:

You may register via the Web if you:
2. STARS – Touch-tone phone registration
Call 410-777-2241 from 5 a.m.–midnight, 7 days a week.
You may use STARS if you:
- Are currently enrolled in or completed one credit or developmental course at AACC.
- Have your current address on file with the Records and Registration office.
- Are not an athlete, international (F-1) student or concurrent (high school) student or otherwise restricted by a financial hold including business, library, public safety or physical education.
Before you pick up the phone:
STARS will ask you to key in the information using your touch-tone phone. Have the following information available:
- Social Security number or student ID number
- Personal identification number (PIN) – The first time you ever use STARS, your pin is your four digit birth month and day (example: 0413= April 13). You will then be prompted to change your PIN.
- Term – Press the appropriate number on your touch-tone phone when prompted.
- STARS number – (example: 82349) Immediately following each course section number listed in the Schedule of Classes. If a course lacks a STARS number, register by another method.
Registering by Stars
The line may become silent while transactions occur. Do not hang up. If the class you want is full, you may choose, if you wish to be put on a waiting list.Audit
You cannot change a course to audit grading through STARS. You may change a course to audit grading by mail, fax, or in person by published deadline.Payment
You may pay by STARS. To avoid having a registration canceled, you must make the required minimum payment as stated in the Schedule of Classes.
3. BY MAIL –
Spring 2010: Nov. 10-Dec. 15
Complete a credit registration form in the back of the Schedule of Classes and mail it with payment to:

Arnold, MD 21012-1895Your class schedule is mailed when registration is complete.
4. IN PERSON – You may pay in person at the Arnold campus, AACC at Arundel Mills, Fort Meade Education Center or Glen Burnie Town Center Arundel Center North using your ATM card, check, money order or credit card. You can pay in CASH ONLY at the Arnold campus.
