Black Male Initiative (BMI) is a monthly forum to address the needs and issues of African American males at Anne Arundel Community College. Its aim is to build community, network and connect students with support services and resources.

JOIN US FOR THE BLACK MALE INITIATIVE (BMI) SUMMIT 2013


Through BMI, students may gain:

  • Critical understanding of life skills as they pertain to degree attainment and a professional career
  • The ability to mentor campus community peers through information and skills gained through BMI
  • Increased commitment to academics and degree, certification, transfer obtainment
  • Opportunities to network with AACC professional staff, administration and faculty
