Child Care: The School-Age Child Discuss curriculum development for school-age children. Learn communication skills, classroom management and development of a positive self-concept. Examine age-appropriate activities to promote optimum development of children in the after-school setting. Meets the Office of Child Care requirements in regulations that group leaders have 45 hours of curriculum training. Textbook information available at AACC Bookstore. CEUs awarded. $252 includes $12 fee. Note: The hybrid course has four mandatory face-to-face classes. The first mandatory meeting is the start date of the class.
