Welding 1 Gain the knowledge needed to do simple repairs or use welding in hobbies and crafts. Learn basics of oxyacetylene welding and cutting, shielded metal arc welding and gas metal arc welding. Cover safety processes, equipment and techniques through lecture and hands-on instruction. $488 includes $257 fee. Note: Fire-retardant pants and shirt, hard-toed boots and safety goggles required.
