Real Estate: Appraisal Principles Learn about property concepts, characteristics and descriptions. Review legal considerations, influences on real estate values, types of value, economic principles, real estate markets and analysis and the valuation process. The course meets for a total of 64 classroom hours and 100 percent attendance and a calculator are required. You must also earn 70 percent or higher on the final exam. $452 includes $7 fee. Note: First of four community college courses designed to meet the education requirements of the Maryland Commission of Real Estate Appraisers and Home Inspectors for appraiser licensure.
