Center for Learning through Service

Learn. Serve. Get Experience.

  • Students: Become a service-learning volunteer and apply what you are learning to help the community.
  • Faculty: Offer service-learning in your course as a class project or as an individual assignment. Students can apply their learning while meeting community needs.
  • Community Partners: Get help with short-term projects, recruit longer-term volunteers, and access resources.
  • Volunteers: Volunteer on-campus or off-campus and find individual volunteer opportunities. Organize a service project and receive support and referrals to help you give back to the community.

The Center for Learning through Service, a part of the Sarbanes Center for Public and Community Service at Anne Arundel Community College, promotes a culture of community involvement and learning through service by providing opportunities for students, faculty and staff to serve the community.
