Service-Learning Student Handbook
The Service-Learning Student Handbook is accessed through MyAACC. The book contains service-learning procedures, agency descriptions, contact information and the forms you need to sign up and track your experience.
To get started, log onto MyAACC using your username and password. Once you are logged in follow these simple steps:
- Click on the Groups icon in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.
- Click on the Groups Index tab in the middle.
- In the Category Index, click on Academic.
- Click on Service Learning. You will be asked to join the group.
- Click on Join Group. Your membership will be approved, as this is a restricted group.
- Click on Files. You will be able to view the entire Service-Learning Student Handbook.
The Handbook is divided into these major sections:
- Introduction and Procedures
- Suggestions and Phone Script
- Service Learning Contract and Liability Waiver (printable)
- Hours Log Form, and Site Supervisor Evaluation (printable)
- The Reflective Journal
- Safety and Service Suggestions
