SLG-343 - Conversational Sign Language 1
Learn to communicate with hearing-impaired individuals. Study fundamental principles of American Sign Language. Study basic sign vocabulary, its use in conversation following the patterns and grammatical structures and an introduction to the American Manual Alphabet (fingerspelling).
SLG-344 - Conversational Sign Language 2
Develop receptive and expressive skills following the patterns of American Sign Language. Expand your sign vocabulary. Review and expand finger spelling skills.
SLG-345 - Conversational Sign Language 3
Continue to expand sign vocabulary and the basic syntax of American Sign Language. Emphasizes signing fluency. Learn signed English idioms. View special films and interact socially with hearing-impaired individuals to aid skill development.
SLG-350 - Conversational Sign Language 4 - Intermediate and advanced students gain proficiency and fluency in American Sign Language. Practice signing with members of the deaf community, learn techniques used to gauge a signer's proficiency in interpretation.
