Meet the Student Representatives

Photo of an SA meeting.

Student representatives are elected by students who attend Student Association meetings. They are the eyes and ears of the organization. Their primary purpose is to listen to students' ideas and concerns and bring them back to the group so that they can be resolved. Student representatives are elected in the fall and serve until graduation in the spring.

Alexandra Fleming
This is my third semester of AACC. AACC has made me grow out of my shell. I am majoring in Business while juggling the excitement and fun of SA and CAB. I joined SA because I want to get my voice out in the college community and make a difference. My current goal is to transfer to any state school in the Spring of 2014 with the hope anyone can accept me for who I am despite having a learning disability.

This is my first year at AACC. I plan to get a degree in Associates first at AACC then transfer to University of Maryland College Park and get my Bachelor's degree. I plan to study Business Administration and major in the field of Accounting. I also plan to open my own business in the future.

I am seeking degree in Database Administration and currently working towards a career in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science. I am a member of the Campus Activities Board and Secretary of the History Club. I also volunteer at the Historic London Town and Gardens and helping build their woody plants database. I have learned a lot from my time serving on the Student Association. I have become more confident as a leader.

I am seeking an associates degree in Business Admin and transferring to either Towson University or American University in DC. My career goals are to be either becoming an accountant or turning my hobby, Billiards, into a business/franchise.

Noorullah Atmar
