Adelante Hispanic Summer Bridge Program

Program Details

• This free program is open to 15 students and eases your transition into college by providing coursework in the humanities and arts.
• The curriculum is based on validating the Hispanic culture while introducing you to college-level work and new expectations on a college campus.
• You will have an opportunity to read literature from well-known Hispanic authors. 
• Artists from the Hispanic community will provide a cultural experience that includes poetry, art, film and music.
• A trip is planned to a Hispanic cultural center.

Requirements
You must commit to attend the entire week, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Application Deadline
Submit your application ^PDF by July 6, 2012.

How do I find out more about the program?
We will have an orientation session for you and your parents or guardians on July 19, 2012 at 6 p.m. to further explain the program and answer any questions.
