AACC's TEACH Institute provides continuing professional development opportunities to teachers and educational staff in a number of ways.

Professional Development - Choose from a variety of open enrollment credit courses that meet your professional development needs. Online non-credit courses at Anne Arundel Community College offer students an opportunity to take classes that fit their schedule and learning style.
Child Care Courses - AACC offers MSDE-approved child care noncredit courses PDF to help child care staff and home providers keep their license current, or you can pursue a degreePDF in early childhood care and education.
Contract Training for child care providers, parents, teachers and other school staff - We can provide on-site delivery of existing courses at your public school, private school, child care center or other facility. Our experienced trainers can also work with you to create customized courses to meet the specific needs of your staff or your parent group. Teacher Certification - If you are non-certified private or parochial teacher or a conditional public school teacher seeking certification, we offer classes that will help you become a certified teacher in the state of Maryland.
