Certification Testing and Additional Assessments

We offer hundreds of national certification exams from partners such as Pearson Vue, Certiport, Castle Worldwide and NALA. Please use the links below to find available exams and scheduling information. 

We also offer the College Level Exam Program (CLEP) which allows students to receive course credit by taking an exam.

Registration and/or exam fees may be required to complete a certification or CLEP exam.  Please view the Testing Fee Schedule for any necessary registration or exam fees. 

Pearson Vue

Pearson Vue delivers a high number of tests worldwide for clients in licensure, certification, academic admissions, regulatory, and government testing service markets. Pearson VUE offers testing services across a number of industries, from academic to employment to government. It is also the official testing agency for Cisco, Oracle, CompTIA and many more.

Miller Analogy Test

The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is a high-level test of analytical ability that requires solving problems stated as analogies. The MAT consists of 120 partial analogies that you have 60 minutes to complete. The test measures your ability to recognize relationships between ideas, your fluency in the English language, and your general knowledge of the humanities, natural sciences, mathematics, and social sciences.

Certiport

Certiport's main goal is to validate fundamental computer skill knowledge through performance-based testing. In addition to the IC3 credential, Certiport also provides the official Microsoft Office certification programs, the Microsoft Technology Associate certification program, the Adobe® Certified Associate certification program, the Autodesk Certified User program, the CompTIA Strata™ IT Fundamentals, the Intuit QuickBooks Certified User certification program.

Castle Worldwide

CASTLE Worldwide, Inc. builds long-term relationships with government agencies, corporations, educational institutions, and trade and professional associations by offering examination design, development, training and administrative services. CASTLE Worldwide is one of the nation's leading certification and licensure testing companies.

NALA - National Association of Legal Assistants

NALA is the nation's leading professional association for paralegals.  As a non-profit organization, NALA provides continuing education and professional development programs for paralegals - from novice to experienced professionals.

College Level Exam Program (CLEP)

The College Level Examination Program (CLEP) is a group of standardized tests that assess college-level knowledge in several subject areas. Many colleges grant credit to students who meet their minimum qualifying score.  The tests are useful for students who have obtained knowledge outside the classroom, such as through independent study, job experience, or cultural interaction.  CLEP also offers international and home-schooled students the opportunity to demonstrate their proficiency in subject areas and bypass undergraduate coursework.

*All Students must present picture identification before taking an exam.  Certification may require additional identification, please review instructions with certification vendor(Pearson Vue, CLEP, Certiport, Castle Worldwide, and Teas).  


Additional Assessments

Allied Health and Biology Arithmetic Placement

This exam is designed to determine weather a student has sufficient arithmetic skills prior to registering for Allied Health and Biology courses.  Prior to completing this exam please review the Placement Prep Guide or The Arithmetic Placement Sample PDF.

 

ATI Testing(TEAS)

As the nation's preeminent e-learning provider, ATI offers programs that are instrumental in improving faculty, student and program outcomes. With our programs, educators have the power to augment curriculum, revamp courses and faculty development, improve student tests outcomes and lower attrition rates.

 

Registration

1.  Review  TEAS registration instructions and information.

2.  Create an account with ATI, but DO NOT register for an exam on the ATI website. 

3.  Fill out and submit the Testing Center TEAS Appointment Form .

Testing fees and exams fees will be payed at the time of your appointment at the Testing Center. 

 

Empco Sheriffs Exam

Empco conducts written examinations, assessment centers, and oral boards for over 250 agencies across the United States. We have examinations for police, public safety, fire service and municipal positions for entry level and promotions.

In addition, we coordinate a recruiting and hiring consortium for new officers in a number of police departments.
