In addition to this Theatre Arts is pleased to offer two new classes and an update to our degree program. To better enable our students to transfer to four-year institutions we are updating our degree program to reflect the changes in programs in colleges through out the United States. THA125 Script Analysis introduces our students to the skills and techniques required to read and analyze a play text. This class (along with Stagecraft, Acting 1 and Play Production) will become one of the four core classes in our AA Theatre option. We are also offering THA185 Children's Theatre Ensemble, which is a class in which our students produce, rehearse, build, and perform theatre for young audiences both on and off campus. Audition and interviews are required before this 13 week course can be taken. (The audition/interview will take place the first week of the fall semester)
