BNS-520 - Travel Agent Training 1 ONLINE - OFFERED FALL 2009
Prepare for the Institute of Certified Travel Agents Travel Agent Proficiency exam. Learn basic skills needed to operate a computer reservation system for airlines, cruise lines, travel agencies, hotels and resorts.
Corequisite: BNS 521 Travel Agent Training 2.

BNS-521 - Travel Agent Training 2 ONLINE
Prepare for part two of the Institute of Certified Travel Agents Travel Agent Proficiency exam. Corporate travel coordinators and home-based agents learn reservation systems of airlines, travel agencies, car rental agencies, cruise lines, hotels and resorts.
Corequisite: BNS 520 Travel Agent Training 1.

Together these courses will help you understand the terminology of the travel industry, how to read various schedules and timetables, the difference between suppliers and their products and about the various resources for cruise, rail, hotel, and tours. You’ll learn more about geography, improve your analytical and problem solving skills and practice using a computerized reservation system.
The cost of these classes includes all books and materials. Upon completion, students will be given access to their choice of online Reservation System (Sabre, Worldspan, Apollo, Galileo or Amadeus GDS Systems) and accompanying reference manual.
