Payment Methods

AACC provides a variety of ways to pay for courses. We accept cash, ATM/check debit cards, checks, money orders as well as Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.  Payment is accepted in full or via our interest-free payment plan. The amount you pay down and  the number of payments you make is determined by your initial registration date.  More information regarding waivers and cancellations follows.

PAYMENT TYPES

CASH -  Pay in person only at the Cashiers office located in the Student Services Center on the Arnold campus.  Cash payment is not accepted by mail, in the drop box or at any off-campus site.

CHECK DEBIT CARDS - Must show VISA or MasterCard Logo on cardPay in person at the Arnold campus Cashiers office, Glen Burnie Town Center, Arundel Mills or Fort Meade Army Education Center sites, via MyAACC or by calling the Cashiers Office at 410-777-2236.

CHECK/MONEY ORDER - Make payable to AACC and include the AACC ID# on the check/money order which can be found on the student bill.  Mail to: AACC, 101 College Parkway, Arnold, MD 21012 (include payment stub) or pay in person at the Arnold campus Cashiers office, Glen Burnie Town Center, Arundel Mills or Fort Meade Army Education Center sites.  Returned check fee: $25 per occurrence, max 2 fees.

CREDIT CARDS - Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.  Write card type and card information on payment stub, sign and mail to: AACC, 101 College Parkway, Arnold, MD 21012 or pay in person at the Arnold campus Cashiers office, Glen Burnie Town Center, Arundel Mills or Fort Meade Army Education Center sites, via MyAACC or by calling 410-777-2236.  

GIFT CARDS - Redeem AACC "Gift of Education" cards in person at the Arnold campus Cashiers office or any off-campus site.  AACC gift cards are not accepted through mail, over the phone or on the Web. If paying with a Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express GIFT CARD it is suggested you retain this card (even if used in full) for 120 days after purchase.
 
PAYMENT PLAN
All credit students whose financial accounts with the College are up-to-date can participate in our interest-free payment plan. You are automatically on the payment plan by paying at least the minimum amount due shown on your bill  once registered. Click on the appropriate term under Related Links to the right for term due date information. 

There are a few select noncredit courses available for an outsourced payment plan. For information regarding the eligible courses and the outsourced payment plan, go to Continuing Education Payment Plan or call 410-777-2325. 

THIRD PARTY PAYMENT   
AACC accepts third-party assistance (employers, tuition trust funds, military agencies, etc.) and external scholarships (Optimist, VFW, Rotary, etc.).  Supporting documentation should be submitted at the time of registration. Failure to submit documentation promptly will result in cancellation of registered class(es). Students are responsible for any charges not covered by the third-party assistance or scholarship and are due by the due dates on the bill.  Questions call Cashiers office, 410-777-2236.

STUDENTS RECEIVING FINANCIAL AID
If your financial aid is not enough to pay your tuition and fees, the amounts not covered must be paid by the due dates on your bill.   For more information check with Financial Aid.

If you have received a Federal grant or loan assistance and drop or withdraw from classes, a portion of the funds may be owed back to the Federal Program. For details call Financial Aid, 410-777-2203.

FOSTER CARE, SENIOR CITIZEN AND DISABILITY WAIVERS (SSI, SSDI) 
Tuition and Fees are waived for qualified students who are in the Foster Care program. All Foster Care students must complete the FAFSA prior to receiving a tuition and fee waiver.

Maryland residents age 60 or older by the first day of class may have the tuition portion of the course cost waived for courses which do not have a dagger (†) next to the price and are not senior-only classes. All fees must be paid on or before the due date for all Senior Citizens.

For individuals certified as disabled by the Social Security Administration (SSI or SSDI) who are seeking a certificate or degree must apply for financial aid. All fees must be paid on or before the due date for all Disability students. Social Security disability information and certification forms are available to the right under Related Links
