AACC provides a variety of ways to pay for courses. We accept cash, ATM/check debit cards, checks, money orders as well as Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Payment is accepted in full or via our interest-free payment plan. The amount you pay down and the number of payments you make is determined by your initial registration date. More information regarding waivers and cancellations follows.
CASH - Pay in person only at the Cashier's Office, Student Services Center on the Arnold campus. Cash payment is not accepted by mail, in the drop box or at any off-campus site.
CHECK DEBIT CARD - Must show VISA or MasterCard Logo. Pay in person at the Arnold campus Cashier's Office, Fort Meade Army Education Center, Glen Burnie Town Center Arundel Center North and Arundel Mills sites.
CHECK/MONEY ORDER - Make payable to AACC and include the student ID# found on the student bill on the check/money order. Mail (include payment stub) or pay in person. Returned check fee: $25 per occurrence, max 2 fees.
CREDIT CARD - Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Write card type and card information on payment stub, sign and mail or bring to Cashier's office. Pay with card in person and via MyAACC.
GIFT CARD - Redeem "Gift of Education" cards in person at the Cashier's office. Gift cards not accepted through mail, over the phone or on the Web.

All credit students whose financial accounts with the College are up-to-date can participate in our interest-free payment plan. You are automatically on the payment plan by paying at least the minimum amount due shown on your bill once registered. Click on the appropriate term under Important Links to the right for term due date information.
There are a few select noncredit courses available for an outsourced payment plan. For information regarding the eligible courses and the outsourced payment plan, go to Continuing Education Payment Plan or call 410-777-2325.
THIRD PARTY PAYMENT
AACC accepts third-party assistance (employers, tuition trust funds, military agencies, etc.) and external scholarships (Optimist, VFW, Rotary, etc.). Supporting documentation should be submitted at the time of registration. Failure to submit documentation promptly will result in cancellation of registered class(es). Students are responsible for any charges not covered by the third-party assistance or scholarship and those amounts are due by the due dates on the bill. Questions to Cashier's Office, 410-777-2236.
STUDENTS RECEIVING FINANCIAL AID
If your financial aid is not enough to pay your tuition and fees, the amounts not covered must be paid by the due dates on your bill. For more information check with Financial Aid.
If you have received a Federal grant or loan assistance and drop or withdraw from classes, a portion of the funds may be owed back to the Federal Program. For details call Financial Aid, 410-777-2203.
FOSTER CARE, SENIOR CITIZEN AND DISABILITY WAIVERS (SSI, SSDI)
Tuition and Fees are waived for qualified students who are in the Foster Care program. Tuition is waived for Maryland residents who are age 60 and older by the first day of the class and for individuals certified as disabled by the Social Security Administration. Students who qualify for SSI or SSDI who are seeking a certificate or degree must apply for financial aid. All Foster Care students must complete the FAFSA prior to receiving a tuition and fee waiver. All fees must be paid on or before the due date for all Senior Citizen and Disability students. Social Security disability certification forms are available in the Cashiers office and are valid for one year from the date signed by the Social Security Administration. Student must return the signed form to the Cashier’s office or alert the Cashiers office that there is a valid disability form on file at the college to receive the waiver.
