High-tech, videoconference classrooms at the Arnold campus, the Glen Burnie Town Center, and at AACC at Arundel Mills allow students to interact with students and faculty at remote locations, while earning credits from Anne Arundel Community College.
The Maryland Research and Education Network (MDREN) classrooms permit students at distant locations to engage in interactive courses with the capacity for full motion, real time two-way audio and video communication. Numerous sites may be linked at the same time, and all sites in the link see and hear the interaction. The peripheral equipment allows instructors to display graphics, computer files, multimedia, and playback or record video or audio materials.
