Pathways to eLearning (I)
Pre-requisite: None
Pathways to eLearning (I) is designed to introduce faculty to the basic tools and features of ANGEL Learning that can be used to develop and teach web-based, hybrid, and online courses. Faculty will explore the technical and pedagogical skills necessary to be a successful, effective instructor in the online environment. All faculty who are developing and/or teaching a web-based, online, or hybrid course for the first time must successfully complete this training. This training is conducted online.
Pathways to eLearning (Online Courses)
Pre-requisite: Pathways to eLearning (I)
Pathways to eLearning (Online Courses) is designed for faculty who are developing an online course for first-time delivery. Participants will explore course models and will storyboard and develop content for a course. Participants will also explore best practices for design and delivery of online courses.
Note: Participants will be required to meet with an instructional designer at least once during the training (on campus or in Elluminate Live).
Pathways to eLearning (Hybrid Courses)
Pre-requisite: Pathways to eLearning (I)
Pathways to eLearning (Hybrid Courses) is designed for faculty who are developing a hybrid course for first-time delivery. Participants will explore hybrid course models and will storyboard and develop content for a course. Participants will also explore best practices for design and delivery of blended courses.
Note: Participants will be required to meet with an instructional designer at least once during the training (on campus or in Elluminate Live).
In addition, the Virtual Campus offers a variety of workshops related to the use of technology in instruction and best teaching and learning practices for elearning.
