Calling All Faculty, Staff and Student Artists! Submit Your Work!

The “Art of Women” exhibition honors women during Women’s History Month. The artwork selected for this exhibition will be made by women or will represent women.

ALL media will be considered and the artwork does not need to be a literal representation of a women. All expressive forms of artwork will be considered pertaining to various ideas of WOMAN. Our hope is that this show will contain a representative swath of the broad and diverse female tapestry inherent in our identity at Anne Arundel Community College.

Submit your work!

Drop off artwork from Monday February 28th to Wednesday March 2nd in the Pascal Gallery. Open to all faculty, staff, students and community artists. Submit up to three entries. Work will be juried and selected artists will be notified if their work is chosen for the exhibit.

Work on Display

Selected work will be on display March 3-31, 2011. The Celebration of Women and Opening reception will be held March 15, 2011 from 3:30-6 p.m. Artists are invited to come and speak about their work and enjoy refreshments.

• Student & Faculty Artists' Talk - 4 p.m.
• Dance Performance - 4:45 p.m.
• Visiting Artist Bridget Sullivan's Presentation - 5 p.m.
