Teddy Johnson’s education includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art, a Master of Fine Arts from The Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia, and two semesters of study in Cortona, Italy. His paintings play with the traditions of Western Art to explore storytelling, history, and culture. Fourteen of his paintings were exhibited at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley through January 2014. His paintings have been featured in the Korean magazine, Art People, as well as the Urbanite, and Baltimore Style Magazine. He has had solo shows in Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, and New York City. His work has also been exhibited internationally in Italy and in Korea. Teddy has curated shows in Baltimore, Maryland and Brooklyn, New York with the Rotating History Project, which he co-founded with Heather Rounds in 2010. Their most recent partnership with the Clermont Foundation and The Virginia Department of Historic Resources, "The Clermont Forum II", debuted in Spring 2014 in Clarke County,Virginia. A Virgina native, he is currently based in Baltimore Maryland.
