Yoga Instructor Training

Whether you are interested in becoming a yoga teacher, taking additional yoga courses to gain a higher level of certification or you simply want to deepen your yoga practice and expand your knowledge, AACC in partnership with Yoga4Life offers three comprehensive programs to strengthen your understanding of the art and science of yoga.

200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT)  
300-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT)  
Professional Yoga Instructor: Ayurveda Yoga Specialist  

What is the job outlook?
Employment of fitness trainers and instructors is expected to grow 24 percent through 2020, much faster than the average for all occupations. Yoga instructor jobs can be found in  gyms, fitness or recreation centers, country clubs, hospitals, universities, and clients' homes in addition to specialized yoga and Pilates studios. Fitness trainers and instructors in Maryland earn an average annual salary of approximately $19,500.

What are the requirements?
Student must be at least 16 years old. Two years of yoga practice recommended but not required.
