The AACC Turkey Trot celebrated its 30th year of fun, fitness and pre-Thanksgiving calorie burning in November. Winners earned frozen turkeys and the runners-up claimed pie at the event, which supports the Health, Fitness and Exercise Studies department's annual scholarship as well as AACC’s Fitness Center. Community members are welcome to join in, so start training now for the November 2019 trot. There might be a frozen turkey with your name on it.
The AACC Dance Company is celebrating 30 years of dance this year. We’re celebrating by dancing of course! Alumni were encouraged to return to their roots for a big celebration on Saturday, May 4, with a reception and performances from current students as well as alumni. These festivities have been in the works for two years and the alumni performance card is already full.
Good design is timeless, just like the education students have received from the AACC Department of Architecture and Interior Design for 50 years. The department is celebrating thousands of students – in architecture, interior design, construction management and landscape design – who have been beautifying the world around them.
