Learn about safe online behavior, ethics and cybersecurity from experienced instructors. Topics will include coding a webpage, building a mobile application, programming small robots and electronic devices, protecting and hiding information, password security, 3D printing and digital geotagging of images. Participate in collaborative projects and learn how to solve problems, evaluate evidence, analyze arguments and generate hypotheses. Open to students 12 to 14 years old who have completed grades 6 or 7.
The application process opens March 15, 2023, and camp will run from June 20 to June 23, 2023. This camp is fully funded by the National Security Agency and the National Science Foundation, and is provided at no charge to selected applicants. Applicants will be expected to commit to attending all sessions.
