Civil AI Mixer

Thursday, Apr 23, 2026 at 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM - Arnold - CALT 100

Join us for a Civil AI Mixer, an informal event exploring how AI is shaping civil and environmental engineering.

Hosted by Anne Arundel Community College in collaboration with BAI Group and bAI Labs

Connect with students, engineers and local leaders working on real-world infrastructure such as water systems, landfills, construction and renewable energy. Learn how future professionals can combine engineering fundamentals with data and applied AI skills. Explore why it is essential to verify and validate AI tools, ensuring they are accurate, transparent and grounded in real engineering practice.

If you are interested in civil and environmental engineering, sustainability and building smarter communities, this is a space to learn, connect and get involved.

Refreshments provided.

Speakers

Each speaker will offer brief five-to six-minute remarks followed by a Q&A session. The evening will conclude with structured networking focused on the AI tools participants are using, solutions they believe are needed and how to prepare the workforce for this future. An open-source working document will allow attendees to contribute ideas during and after the event so the conversation can continue.
