CAPS 2: Design Concepts for Aging-in-Place Discover innovative products and how to focus your business on creating new homes and renovations that provide design flexibility, pleasing aesthetics, high function and usability without regard to age, income or ability level, and regardless of life's changes and challenges. Identify common challenges. Understand design concepts that create a safe and comfortable environment to age in place (AIP) and those with a condition requiring home modifications or equipment. Successful completion of CAPS 1, 2 and 3 allows the student to apply for NAHB's CAPs designation. CEUs issued. $370 includes $207 fee. Note: Required for the National Association of Home Builders Certified Aging-in-Place specialist designation. Can be an elective for NAHB's Master CSP and CGA designations. Provides 6 hours of continuing education credits for CGA, CGB, CGR, GMB, CSP, Master CSP, CMP and MIRM. Provides 0.6 continuing education credits for AOTA (NAHB is a registered provider with the American Occupational Therapy Association Inc.)
