FLR-354 Floral Design: Design Styles

Floral Design: Design Styles | Examine a variety of classic and contemporary design styles. Identify influences from European and Asian design concepts. Describe vegetative-inspired designs and how they differ from designs inspired by architectural, sculptural or abstract design. Demonstrate proficiency in the ability to copy a design from a photograph and to create a vegetative-inspired composition. Prerequisite: AACC Floriculture Certificate, CFD designate from AIFD, or instructor permission. $269+ includes $109 fee. Note: Suitable for continuing education credit for AIFD. Students must bring tools (floral knife, pruning shears and wire cutters) to class.
