ASL-150 Intralingual Interpreting

Develop intralingual skills (English to English) in preparation for developing interlingual skills (English to ASL/ASL to English) by focusing on cognitive development in abstracting, summarizing, paraphrasing, memorizing and multi-tasking. Focus on semantics and restructuring that are suitable for ASL or English as the target language. Prerequisite: ASL 114 and ASL 140 with a grade of C or better or permission of department chair.
