Learn history, culture, religion, institutions, politics, economics, arts and psychology of peoples of African descent as developed from experiences from both the Old and New Worlds. Analyze social life from an African American perspective as illustrated in selected historical and contemporary writings. Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENG 101/ENG 101A.
