Explore U.S. Latinx literature and cultural production. Engage in close reading of works by Mexican American, Puerto Rican, Dominican American, Cuban American, and U.S. Central American writers. Analyze works of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and other genres in their literary, historical, and political contexts. Prerequisite: ENG 101/ENG 101A or permission of department.
