Compare and analyze multicultural literature in English, written by women of diverse regions, cultures, races, sexualities, religions and classes. Explore the relationships between gender and literary form, content, production, evaluation, and interpretation, with attention to historical, social, cultural, and political contexts, as well as literary analysis. Readings include poetry, prose and drama. Prerequisite: ENG 101/ENG 101A or permission of department.
