ASC-306 Painting 1

Painting 1 Study the context, history, materials and techniques of oil painting. Explore light and shadow while using a limited palette to paint still lifes. Develop an understanding of color harmony while creating complex paintings with a full palette. $395 includes $47 fee. Prerequisite: ARS-388 or ART-125 Drawing 1 or permission of department chair. Note: All sections also offered for credit, ART-131.
