A Little More

Since 1999, John Sagi has been teaching courses in business, small business management and marketing to AACC students. He has also taught graduate courses in international business, electronic commerce and management information systems at Johns Hopkins University and George Washington University, and the strategic management capstone course at the University of Maryland. 

Sagi was a Fulbright Senior Scholar to the Russian Federation, teaching electronic commerce and business. He is currently on the U.S. Scholar Peer Review Committee, which selects educators for Fulbright scholarships. Further, he is one of 16 Fulbright Ambassadors selected to give presentations at academic conferences throughout the world on behalf of the Fulbright Program. 

Sagi has a distinguished military career, serving on surface ships and submarines, and working in information technology for Commander-in-Chief, U.S. Atlantic Fleet Headquarters and at NATO Headquarters, Brussels, Belgium. He also held several senior management positions with FMC Corporation. 

He has been published in academic journals on electronic commerce and business and has presented at many international conferences including the World Future Society, the Portland International Center for Management of Engineering and Technology Conference, the Society for the Advancement of Management and the National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators. His research interests include the international social aspects of electronic commerce.
