Directed by adjunct performing arts faculty member AnnMarie Saunders, Ph.D., the production was adapted for stage by Robert Kauzlaric from the Neil Gaiman cult-classic novel “Neverwhere.” Sean Urbanke, assistant professor of Performing Arts, oversaw backstage design and technical aspects of the production.
“Neverwhere” tells the story of how a single act of kindness plunges a completely average account manager, Richard Mayhew, deep beneath the streets of London into an unimaginably dangerous world of magic, monsters, murderers and angels. It’s also where the young businessman discovers a destiny both strange and eerily familiar.
Curtain times are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Nov. 3, 4, 10 and 11, and 2 p.m. Sundays, Nov. 5 and 12.
Admission is $20 general admission; $15 AACC faculty, staff, seniors, groups, outside students and children under 10; $10 AACC students with advanced purchase (prior to Nov. 3) and valid student ID. For tickets, contact the AACC Box Office, 410-777-2457 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
