Section Info: South County | Multimedia Drawing Studio Practice | Develop your artistic skills, personal style and understanding of color theory, composition, creation of depth, texture and historical styles of art covered in the introductory Colored Pencil Drawing course. Students are encouraged to continue exploring wax, oil, watercolor, pastel and other types of colored pencil combined with various drawing and painting media such as pen and ink, markers, watercolor, acrylics and other mixed media techniques for enhanced and varied effects. We will assess community-based approaches to peacebuilding such as storytelling, dialogue, and music, using real-life examples from Northern Ireland, a place that experienced thirty years of communal violence known as "The Troubles," and has since built a lasting peace.
